Every member of the staff was extremely helpful and patient. The location was perfect and unbeatable for exploring this good area, just next door to the centre of chichesters beautiful cobbled streets, the theatre and a central park of the city. Again, it had an understated cathedral close by.

Great hotel with its own charm. Felt well looked after. The staff was very friendly. I ended both evenings relaxed in the bar.
I haven't noticed anything negative now. I thought it was really okay.

The hotel is beautiful and I'd definitely come back.
The breakfast staff are very slow and inattentive. A little desperate. Rich breakfast but no orange juice

Very classy. We are not used to this kind of thing as it is usually outside our price range, so it was nice for a change to stay in a beautiful place and for it to not break the bank. We love Chichester of course. The staff were very accomodating, letting us get into our room early and allowing us to park early as well as beyond 11 on the day of our departure. This was much appreciated.
The noise off the high street at night meant that we didn't sleep very well. I guess there may be other roooms where this is not so much of a problem. it didn't ruin our stay but it was a negative factor. I think there was some building works going on across the street - at 4am!

Lovely light spacious room. Lovely mix of old and new. Very Central and had a great undisturbed nights sleep in the comfy bed - which could have been improved with a firmer non feather pillow, but that could be my preference. Fantastically close to Festival Theatre - the purpose of my trip
Waiting Staff at Breakfast could be improved by welcoming and showing you to a table - explaining that the depleted continental breakfast was not the only option and point out that an array of freshly cooked items were available too. On realising this we ordered, only to have to clear toast and cereal plates away so the waitress to place the lovely cooked option on the table - I am all for mucking in, but to then leave the used items on the now cluttered table is inexcusable. Especially as there were only three other diners in the restaurant. Apart from paying my bill, this was my tainted last impression of the hotel.

The bar area, We thought it was a very social place, If we lived in Chichester we would use it a lot. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The hotel is Fully flexible for both mature people and young people alike. On the whole a jolly good place to stay if you want to explore Chichester.
